Hello! My name is Matt Wastradowski, and I am a travel and outdoors writer based in Oregon.

I’ve written about beer, outdoor adventure, and other travel topics for numerous outlets, including Outside, Northwest Travel & Life, REI’s Uncommon Path, Willamette Week, and OnTrak Magazine.

I’m also excited to have written three guidebooks for Moon Travel Guides! Moon Pacific Northwest Hiking arrived in July 2020, the Oregon half of that guide (Moon Oregon Hiking) came out in March 2021, Moon Columbia River Gorge & Mount Hood arrived in November 2022, and Moon Oregon (a guidebook to the whole Beaver State) will be released in 2023.
